@jacelala But let's go with more recent history. Up until the 1970's, most protestant churches didn't have a stance on abortion. Some were even pro-choice. What changed? The civil rights act. Segregationists used the abortion issue to get the evangelical voting base.

Trump said today that “a whole civilization will die tonight.” This is insane.  He is openly threatening massive escalation in Iran. Congress needs to immediately vote to put a stop to this. It is a constitutional duty to vote on war powers and both sides should demand this.
