I've got a lot of questions about my @verasitytech proposal, especially regarding the timing and reasoning behind $VRA's current direction. Here's what you need to know: 1⃣ Warchest original purpose: There is no longer a strategic necessity for these tokens the only logical course of action is to burn substantial amount of them, or all. Remember, the original purpose was to use that funds to buy a publisher to showcase how well @Vera_Views works. No need for that anymore, as VeraViews already proved its commercial viability. 2⃣ "Will burning Warchest effect staking?" Staking is funded by deflationary mechanics. Revenue is used to buy $VRA from the circulating supply and then it is used for funding staking rewards. 3⃣ "Maybe the Warchest can be repurposed now, they would never just burn it." Sure, one can always find reasons to spend money. But the original rationale for setting aside $10b in tokens was to kickstart VeraViews in the event that there was no initial interest. The dilemma for Verasity was clear: "Either we buy a publisher to demonstrate the effectiveness of @Vera_Views, or we end up with a fantastic product that no one uses." In this context it was IMPERATIVE to showcase how effectively VeraViews operates. Without this proof, the entire @verasitytech ecosystem risked failure. Now, with two successful case studies (and potentially more on the horizon) that highlight @Vera_Views as the BEST commercial solution for combating ad fraud, such a contingency is no longer necessary. 4⃣ Final thoughts Repurposing the entire warchest (all 10B tokens) for alternate uses is challenging to justify objectively. Letting go of such a vast reserve might be difficult, that is why I gave my "Burn Schedule" recommendation: - Burn 8b by year's end. - Every 6 months thereafter, burn an additional 1b. This strategy offers flexibility. If some opportunities occur, like listing on a that one unlisted exchange for $VRA, or a need for significant marketing push, funds remain accessible. If no compelling need surfaces within the next 18 months, the likelihood of ever requiring these reserves decreases. We all anticipate $VRA will generate substantial revenue over the next two years, which should be enough to fund expansion and growth associated expenses. BURN and SEPARATE and SEND $VRA to $3!
