So out. Has about 40K in Chips and I got into a hand with a player at the table with a large pile of chips. I flopped top two pair and put him on a straight draw. I went all in with a pot sized bet and he called with straight draw and then hit the straight on river. Bummer.
Through 6 levels. Was up to 80K. Then bad hand. Had Qd-Jd with four players. Flop 10d-9h- 4c. No betting Turn was Ace of diamonds. River was 6d and I got great flush. After a couple raises and reraises, guy turns over Kd-9d for a higher flush. Lost 25K. Now about 52K.
Through four levels and doing slightly better. Up to about 57 K. Ran into the other fellow from the Friday night club. He is a couple tables over and doing quite well - over 100K. No major hands to brag about. Mostly just grinding along.
Through two levels of play (one hour each level). Not getting much traction. Started with 50K and sitting at 48K. Have won a few hands and have avoided a couple landmines. Lot of players changing betting amounts pre-flop so watching them carefully to get a good read on them.
So. My WSOP over. It was a great time and I really enjoyed the experience. The busting out part sucked but the rest was awesome. Honestly did not expect to get to end of Day 4. Glad I was able to make a little money for me and the CPC. Thanks for all the support.
Thru level 4 of Day 4. Good news - still in. Bad news - I missed my flight home. Lol. Oh well. All in three times that level and other person folded each time. Never showed cards. Sitting at 590K and blinds are huge. Hoping to just make it to tomorrow.
475 people left in tourney. I am still doing my best imitation of a cockroach. Avoiding getting hit and staying alive. I might be a little slap happy from lack of sleep. Lol
Guy to my left lost all in with chip leader. Flop 4-2-4. Big bets. Turn 3. Big bets. River 10. Both all in. Guy to my left turned over pockets 2s. Chip leader turned over pocket 3s for higher boat. Brutal.
Thru third level of Day 4 and moving up placement in tourney. But not getting cards and blinds are eating me up. Sitting at 350 K, essentially where I started today and blinds MUCH larger now. Going to have to pick a spot and go while I still have enough chips to worry people.
Thru second level Day 4. Sitting at 550K. Was card dead, down to 350K until second to last hand of level. Had pocket 9s against chip leader. Flop 8-10-J. Turn 4. River Q and I made straight. He bet big, I was worried about higher straight. Called. He had two pair to my straight.
