I've been browsing through a bit of the #SPFBO9 excitement this past weekend, and I keep being amazed by how wide, imaginative, and talented the independent fantasy community is.

@Areaer_Novels Yep, my TBR means "Consider reading." It's not a declaration that I SHALL devour the book in its entirety.

@mhthaung I decided to interpret "TBR" as 'intrigued enough I might investigate this book further' for the purposes of this. Given as, the way I do things, the first pages or chapters have essentially NO chance of making a book "TBR" for them, by themselves. It takes more.

@lauriejaney If it's just passed 14 days, maybe give it another day or two? With timezones etc, I tend to allow an extra 2 days for changes. And remember, if your royalty rate is 70%, you can't lower your price below a certain minimum.

I've been anxiously waiting to drop the price of my ebook on Amazon, which was locked after I ran a countdown deal in May. The required 14 days have now passed and... it's still locked. Does anyone know what's up with this? I'd like to sell at least one book in June. 😭
