Thank you to the University of California, Berkeley for the opportunity to play the game that I love surrounded by the best teammates who became family. I have decided to enter the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility left. I am grateful and excited for what is next.

Cal OF/UT Elon Butler has entered the transfer portal. An All-American in 2024, Butler owns a career .328 batting average with 37 home runs, 112 RBIs, 107 runs scored, 25 doubles, and 28 stolen bases.

Hollister High School 2024 grad Mia Phillips, who will play for Cal in college, was named to the All-State First Team by Cal-Hi Sports, which said Mia "was the top returning player from a Haybalers’ squad in 2022 that won the CIF NorCal D1 title and was State Team of the Year."
