Dear Pilgrim,
There are ravens amongst us. It's not just their exterior that is black. Even their hearts and souls have been consumed by darkness!
As Noah's ark rested on Ararat and man looked forward to entering a new season, two messengers were sent out of the ark to find rest. Both the raven that saw "a feast of dead bodies" and never returned and the dove who returned with an olive came from the same ark. That they speak from amongst us does not mean they are truly one of us.
There's nothing happening now within the Christian space that is taking our Lord and Saviour unawares. He warned of such men rising within our ranks and told us to prepare ourselves for them as we approach the final hours on this side of eternity. The age is ending, and eternity beckons!
There is a deliberate and coordinated attack against the souls and eternal destiny of those who are in Christ from men who went from ark but are messengers of the devil sent to awaken lust for consumerism and false prosperity. The intention is clear - that the very elect may be deceived.
Beloved, Jesus does not hate poor people. Jesus did not die to make any man rich materially. Neither was it poverty that led Him to the cross. Jesus will never say that if you're poor, then there's sin in your life.
Now more than ever, be discerning. Just as "there were also false prophets among the people, there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies..." 2 Peter 2:1
Be watchful, guard your heart, finish your course, and ensure you enter in the joy of your Master.
