This is a hard one for me. Yes, George Floyd died of an overdose. He killed himself. The image of Chauvin callously sitting there with his knee on Floyd’s neck still bothers me. Should he have been prosecuted for murder, no. But his actions appeared cruel, there had to be consequences for that. A commuted sentence is appropriate.

Derek Chauvin was wrongly prosecuted and sent to prison for a crime he did not commit. The medical examiner's report was withheld at trial purposely by Keith Ellison. George Floyd died from an overdose of fentanyl Derek Chauvin is innocent! Keith Ellison is who should be in prison!

I voted for Paxton, but if Cornyn wins, I’d vote for him over Talarico. Democrats must be defeated at every level. Talarico will vote to convict Trump when he is impeached - the charge doesn’t matter. Talarico is extreme left, despite his Leave it to Beaver appearance.

@WallStreetMav Paxton is well known in Texas, warts and all, and is an electoral powerhouse. Talarico looks like Beaver Cleaver but is not well known. Once Texans understand him, he will become just another defeated, forgotten Democratic pretender like Beto, the Dream Team and Abortion Barbie.

Remember every Republican who says James Talarico will beat Ken Paxton in Texas. Then, after Election Day, remember never to listen to another word they say. Running “winnable” candidates instead of real conservatives in red states is one of the biggest psy-ops of our time.

@Cernovich An astonishing demonstration of Paxton’s electoral strength was the Court of Criminal Appeals election last year. Normally nobody pays much attention. Paxton got three incumbents fired by voters because they wouldn’t let him prosecute election fraud.

Ken Paxton has won statewide election in Texas three times. Most recently in 2022, by a 60-40 margin. Net migration into Texas has been Republican. Even the tech scene down there needs growth and freedom of movement. You think David Sacks etc is voting Talarico? Get real.
