@dave_n84 Shankland is so adaptable we can play in a 2 with either Chermiti or Naderi
we obviously know he’s a clinical number 9, meaning we can pair him well with a running machine like Naderi, but he’s shown he can play in behind as a second striker in 24/25, which complements Chermiti

Part of me is relieved that the club is serious about getting leaders in the dressing room, but another part feels that it’s too little too late.
We will part with a fair bit of cash for him as he’s entering the twilight of his career. Unsure how it will go.
