Since 2016, Cleveland has only finished worse than 2nd in the AL Central once, while winning the division 7 times. That lone year (2023) they finished third and won the draft lottery wherein they drafted Travis Bazzana.

@danieldaugh WC only one out of the three times they finished second. So, postseason 8 of last 11 seasons.

Phillies came into Cleveland series hot and looking to re-establish themselves as a real postseason threat given the talent they possess. Guardians handled them, on the road, against the top of their rotation. This team is for real.
