Yes, it is absolutely awful and should only ever be done very, very rarely in a child's life but the alternative is much worse. If bad behaviour is not corrected immediately it can lead to thieving, stealing, shooting, murder, raping, pillaging, taking drugs, prison, homelessness etc... Which would you want for your child?

@Dekan1209 @AmericaPapaBear That I get. I got the same thing. But…my friends were the only one who remembered that. It could never follow me 10, 20, 30 years later on the internet. It couldn’t be shared with my friend group on their phones.
