Just 18 months ago, @Keir_Starmer led @UKLabour to a historic victory. The public expect us to deliver on our manifesto and to focus on tackling the cost of living. That’s exactly what Keir is doing and in that work he has my full support.

Keir Starmer won a massive mandate 18 months ago, for five years to deliver on Labour’s manifesto that we all stood on. We should let nothing distract us from our mission to change Britain and we support the Prime Minister in doing that.

The Tories and Reform HATE WORKERS. At EVERY STAGE of the EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS BILL they tried to block it. But they FAILED. We EXPOSED them. We BEAT them. We HAVE DELIVERED it. THE greatest CHRISTMAS PRESENT working people could ask for!! That’s the DIFFERENCE with LABOUR. 🌹

@ToryWipeout @KemiBadenoch Interesting that you call Kemi a liar for quoting figures published on the DfE website and accept Bridget Phillipson unsubstantiated numbers…

@TrisOsborneMP Oh Tris! Delusion doesn’t even begin to describe what you’ve just said. How is freezing rail fairs saving people money? Surely they just pay the same? That isn’t saving. Stop trying to put a positive spin on what has been a complete shambles. Perhaps blame the Tories as usual?

@MichaelHibbert @bphillipsonMP Plenty of open source Michael on where I went to school. I also spent a large proportion of my career teaching at state schools so not sure what your point is? Grow up.

We're getting more children into classrooms, and more teachers in front of them. ✔️ Absence decreasing across all school types ✔️ Persistent absence decreasing across all regions ✔️ Gaps between regions narrowing That's down to the hard work of schools, families and Labour.

@TrisOsborneMP @UKLabour It is. But it does not make your point. December 24 is only 5 months into the Labour government. That is not enough time to see the impact of the OCTOBER budget. Let’s see what this year says, shall we?

Despite some nonsense punditry over a brain drain - specifically during the @UKLabour period in government - this has turned out to again, not be true. There is a debate to be had; but this a much more longstanding trend.

Food inflation is lower today than what was inherited from Sunak prior Feb 2024 and way under the 18% spike. Blue - Food inflation under @Conservatives Red - Food inflation under @UKLabour More to do next week to reduce cost of living.

In this post you will see a question, 'where is the VAT.' I think that is the point that ALL teachers, parents, taxpayers and most importantly, children should be asking. 'Please Miss Phillipson, where is the VAT?' Because it sure as hell isnt in our schools. Which begs the next question- IS there any VAT revenue?
Victoria@vickygrayson_

The absolute brass neck on @bphillipsonMP tweeting about cuts to school budgets when she barged in cutting subjects & the IB, and has provided unfunded teacher pay rises. 92% of secondary schools are being forced to make cuts. She claims this is “thriving”. Where is the VAT?

The Tories left our schools to RAAC and ruin. The next generation will inherit RAAC-free schools from Labour, with rebuilds done in under a decade and all other schools cleared of RAAC by the end of this Parliament. That's national renewal. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…

Too many pupils are disengaged after moving from primary to secondary school, leaving them without the skills they need for work and life. Our new Year 8 reading test will help teachers to spot struggling readers early and provide pupils with the support they need to achieve and thrive.

This woman hasn’t cared for a second about the distress that she has caused thousands of children who have been forced out of their schools. She has revelled in it.

@bphillipsonMP Unfortunately, it is not financially viable for Nurseries to offer this due to increased employer NI and underfunding.

🥳 NEW: Working parents now have access to 30 hours of government-funded childcare, saving families £7,500 and providing high quality early years education for children. Labour’s Plan for Change is putting money in parents’ pockets and giving children the best start in life.
