I’ve never understood the logic behind building a house with no breathing room or compound just walls all around. If you can afford a house like that, you can definitely afford to create some space for comfort and a better living environment.
Mnakumbuka huyu dem akituambia Kenya ni Home.
I am sure alipata opportunity nje ya Kenya akahepa. Probably that is how politicians silenced her.
Enyewe kila mtu ako na bei yake.
Yangu ni ngapi?😁
IF 3 Government Officials were found with 500Million.
Extrapolate this
📌What would 47 Governors Have?
📌What would 22 Cabinet secretaries have?
📌What would over 30PSs have?
📌What would over 290 Mps have?
📌What would over 100 Parastatal Heads have?
WHAT ABOUT STATEHOUSE??
@polo_kimanii The moment I saw a kale GK being sworn in,I knew Makosa imefanyika, now those Guys we are being told they are Junior officials in GK, just imagine how much money is being kept in the houses of senior GK officers...10B and over, very dangerous people.
Sow how do these guys casually keep 500 million in their houses like that? Unless its in dollars I dont see how viable that is. After kuwekea mchina CCTV kule Athi river alilipa na cash, nilikamata bundle ya one million na iyo kitu si mchezo. Bundle ya one million inatoshana na unga ya ugali ile ya kilo mbili. But One milliion shillings is about 1kg. So you want to tell me these guys had 500kgs of money. Imagine the room space you would need to arrange 500 packets of unga. Thats like two wardrobes bwana. If that is true, there will be nothing left by the time we are going to election. These people are stealing even for their grand children’s children. What a shame!!
He didn’t just die—he was silenced. His body was forced into a metal box, his face tightly bound with socks and denim, suffocated until there was no air left to breathe. Then he was dumped by the roadside in Eldoret like something worthless.
The men who left him there vanished into the darkness.
Edwin Kiprotich Kipruto—known to many as Edwin Chiloba—was only 25. A fashion designer. A model. A voice for LGBTQ+ people in a country where being yourself can come at a cost. He wasn’t hiding. He was building something—his name, his brand, his truth.
On the night of December 31, 2022, he went back home after a night out. He lived with his roommate, Jacktone Odhiambo. Whatever unfolded inside that house was not sudden. It was deliberate.
Days later, on January 3, a boda boda rider noticed something strange along the Kipkenyo-Hurlingham road. A vehicle stopped briefly. A metal box was dropped off. The number plates were hidden. The car drove off quickly.
The rider trusted his instincts and alerted police.
When officers opened the box, they found a body—already beginning to decompose. Dressed in women’s clothing. Bent and compressed to fit inside.
It was Chiloba.
A post-mortem at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital confirmed the truth. He had been suffocated. Socks were pushed into his mouth. Denim was wrapped tightly around his face, sealing off his nose and mouth. He struggled for air—and lost.
There were also signs he had been sexually assaulted.
This wasn’t random. It was planned.
Odhiambo was arrested, and others believed to have helped move the box. In court, the truth came into focus. Odhiambo was convicted and sentenced to 50 years in prison.
Personal relationship was part of the motive. But beyond that, the case exposed something deeper—how susceptible queer individuals remain.
Friends described Chiloba as fearless. Creative. Alive in ways many people are too afraid to be. He dreamed of growing his fashion work, of pushing boundaries, of living freely.
Instead, his life ended in a box.

@Zakito648363@AfricanArchives Middle Eastern Religions came to Africa just the other day, Christianity and Islam, imagine we survived well without them.

On Friday, at Springview, Kasarani police retrieved the body of a young man who had died 4 days & nobody knew. He lives alone. The caretaker called the police after the smell from his house became unbearable. He was naked, lying in bed face down, meaning he died immediately after coming from the bathroom. Neighbours say last day he was seen alive he was too drunk.
KPLC is still forcing Kenyans to live like it’s 2005 and nobody is talking about it.
Why in 2026 am I:
- Buying tokens
- Waiting for an SMS that might delay
- Then keying a long code into a meter that can even fail?
Why can’t tokens just reflect automatically once you pay?
If I have no power, it should come back instantly. No stress.
I should be able to buy tokens from Japan for my house in Kenya, and it updates immediately, no typing anything or sending someone to key it in for me.
KPLC, this is embarrassing. Fix it.
The allegedly "haunted" home at Riat Hills along Kisumu-Kiboswa-Kakamega road.
It has been a thing of beauty over the years since 2014, but the beauty is naturally disappearing just like ladies in 30s.
Mainly because it's not occupied or less maintenance...
With many theories surrounding it, it could have served as a good highway restaurant.
Just Kitonga garden resort.
