@alfiearnaud_ It depends on the app and niche. Younger audience, very hard to be successful with AI UGC. Older audience, I've seen too much AI UGC just absolutely print.

@BusDownBonnor gotcha i've heard from another operator that they have their creators compete and whose comments gets the most likes and pay bonuses, to incentivize people in their program to comment on each others videos

@michaelque22 Ngl not a super great system rn. But basically just if a video starts to pop i ping all creators to comment.

This is the exact dashboard setup you need to check every day to get your app from $0 to $50K/MRR in less than a year. Literally vibecodable in 30 minutes with your: - RevenueCat API key - ScrapeCreators social media scraping key - Meta Ads_read key - Vercel frontent (use the CLI) (Optional* can just run local) - Supabase backend (use the MCP) Values I find important: - Recent performing UGC videos (need to make sure comments are managed) - RevenueCat: Initial conversion rate, Revenue, Proceeds - Meta: Spend, CPM, Link-CTR, CPR/Results

@Tristanrhee3 @launchpoint bad take imo. better to eat out /doordash to save time cooking. any money you're saving that makes your personal life worse/slower isn't money saved at all, and you really don't need that many hires at the early stage.

I am the lowest paid person at @launchpoint. I make minimum wage. When we opened our Midtown NYC office, I set my salary at 35K per year. For the time I work, that's about $8.75 per hour. My salary is tied to real revenue milestones, teammates get paid first, and the rule we live by is simple: don't die. This is why we do it: 1.𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 Every dollar not paid to me buys time, hires, and product. Survival is oxygen, and oxygen is what lets you find fit. 2.𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫 High founder salaries reduce urgency and blur priorities. Keeping mine low keeps pressure on shipping and delivering actual value to customers. 3.𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐞 The classic Y Combinator advice: if you still have the motivation and the energy to build, it is a tragedy to shut down because the burn got ahead of the work. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐘𝐂:  - I cook all of my food at home. - I live with a roommate. - I don't go out. - I stay in on the weekends to work. It is not glamorous, but it keeps burn low enough to hire one or two more great people and move faster than we could have with founder-sized paychecks.

The companies running the strongest growth engines don't just have a massive UGC army They also have a deep roster of micro-influencers and funnel all of their winning organic from Mass UGC/Influencer -> paid This three pronged approach to creator-led marketing is what separates the boys from the men (or the girls from the women) Stoked to be able to support the entire flywheel natively in SideShift very soon😜

People really out here playing games pretending to work at a desk job. (Featured by Apple btw) Little do they know how much they can achieve if they sat at a desk and locked in on their own business.

But when I look back on my building journey, the best moments were those early wins. First viral format, first 10K/month, first time that ARPU jumped when we did a paywall experiment. And just having fun building with friends. If you can just enjoy the process of getting there, you are guaranteed to win.

Once you hit that revenue goal, there is always more to chase, more problems that come up in your business. You will never truly have peace.

When my app hit its first 10K/day I did maybe 1 hour of actual work that day My ads were printing at 3x ROAS. It had been my dream ever since I launched my first app last summer.

It took me just 6 months to go from 0 to 150K/month on my app. November: 30K/month January: 150K+/month Here is what happened. I kept telling myself that I was going to cross 100K/month mark by the end of the year. By the time late November came and I still so far from my goal, I knew I needed a hail mary, so I tried paid ads I remember going to @blakeandersonw's office to ask for advice, even he didn't think it was possible to break 100K in such a short time. My meta and tiktok ads was barely even spending money and not doing much. But after getting over the beginners hump and getting over the learning phase. Little did I know over the last 5 months I had been accumulating some of the highest converting UGC videos, we ruthlessly cut any formats that didn't convert well. ROAS in January was absolutely crazy, consistently 2-3X. Set super high unrealistic goals

@nicholasnlawton @squilliamlewis will be watching it closely and hope it blows up. I've been thinking about youtube but it's very discouraging seeing a lot of people on X who have sauce try to post on YouTube and get 100 views for a very long time.

Getting addicted to this YouTube thing... I've loved the idea of creating long form ever since I first watched a Casey Neistat vlog in 2015 Now with @squilliamlewis I think we can easily scale this to 100k subs within the next 12 months ( would appreciate any tips ! ) Perhaps the time has finally come for our YouTube arc The views are just incredibly high intent
