INSANE: An 8 minute compilation of flops, falls, and 50/50 calls, (that all coincidentally went OKC’s way) in round 1 of the NBA playoffs vs the Suns… Enjoy 😂😂 (Via, @Hero_OfThe_Day)

I’m more convinced that July 26th, 2022 was the date that changed everything A local Memphis high school basketball star got punched in a pick up game (in front of adults) and his own city turned their backs on him because we wanted to protect our rising NBA superstar Sent the kid’s life in a different direction and literally everything went wrong for the Grizzlies after that Destroyed by injuries the next 4 seasons Fine In The West Embarrassing loss on Christmas Day Clarke & Adams out for playoffs Two gun incidents and suspensions Marcus Smart comes here and is immediately hurt Ja out for the season or hurt in playoffs every season since then One of these days we will stop trying to make it like our superstar is the victim of anything …Anything We threw one of the city’s true native sons under the bus to protect our NBA star and this is what happens when you crown the wrong heroes I guess we expected God to bless that too tho

if you know one thing about Memphis and the locals: they go up over their water quality lol. Jeff Teague sounds silly as hell

The Memphis conversation has become silly, & it’s not LeBron’s fault. Many prominent players have echoed his sentiments. “We” the media have made it about community & culture instead of infrastructure. Basketball players live a bougie, max contract road life, but instead of imploring the Grizzlies to move to Nashville find a solution in Memphis. Also, If we going to ask athletes to speak on behalf of the community at all times a lot of others need to assess their choices as well! @ThePivot clips on YouTube! #ThePivot #MemphisGrizzlies #NBA #LebronJames

His comments weren’t just about a hotel. They reflected a deeper reality about how Memphis is perceived, positioned, and too often overlooked. memphisflyer.com/lebron-said-it…

Won the matchup between everyone’s two favorite cities.
