I've always had trouble understanding why a "trained" officer can panic and KILL someone because they "feared for their life," while a citizen in the same chaotic situation is held to a higher standard, blamed for their death if they also panic due to same fear..? 🤷🏾♂️

I’ve been up since 4AM, no busses are running by my house because of the race today, O’Hare bound blue line trains are 30-60 minutes apart so I had to call my first ever uber to the airport, and it’s raining so if you see me chugging mimosas at 7AM, no you didn’t.
