@joshmcgoo I hated the multicolored pens. My system was to print my signout list, during pre rounds write notes in blue ink, during attending rounds write in red, and for the rest of the day use green. Still use this system now as an attending.

Residents - what’s your favorite multi-colored pen? So I can keep things organized in ICU rotations. What’s your color scheme?

Also for worried peds friends, this has happened probably 5-10 times since he was about 2, and only happens if woken up early and rushed into the car! No concern for high ICP. 😬

My family has a problem with mornings. When I was little, I was nauseous every morning until about lunch time. My mom had the same problem. My brother would actually throw up every morning. My kid has inherited our problem. He pukes every time we have an early, rushed morning.

@jen_rice_ The Classic on Washington and Benjy’s in Rice Village. I know they pivoted to new concepts, but those were my two favorite go-to restaurants, and where I dated my husband before we married, and I’m sad they are gone.

QT interval is frequently prolonged in patients with cancer. Certain cancer therapies, antiemetics and analgesics have been associated with QT prolongation. Dr. Peter Kim is leading the efforts at MD Anderson of accurately diagnosing and managing QT prolongation.

Investing in the future includes investing in education, healthcare, and climate change mitigation. But, it also includes investing in leaders our children can look up to, leaders that display the characteristics we teach our own children to embody. 7/9

Silver lining of breaking my leg: 1. Renewed appreciation of how hard it is to be a patient 2. @MDAndersonNews family showing what #wellness is by making me take time off, helping my patients when I couldn't and brightening my day. I can't wait to pay it forward ❤️ #oncsurgery

@MrsPA_C I only gained 13lbs the whole pregnancy and had weeks where I’d lose a couple lbs and then regain them the next week. Had a totally healthy 7lb baby nothing to worry about
