@leohelios3 Child's father is paying the tax because the child is using his income to buy that candy. If every man is buying something everyday, for example even fuel, then what do you think he is doing? "Not paying the sales tax" with the fuel price?

@mick_kaay True, GST is paid by everyone making purchases but calling it 'Every single man pays tax' is misleading. GST reflects transactions, not individual taxpayers. A child buying candy pays GST too doesn't mean he’s a 'taxpayer.' Clarity matters.
