Real Madrid definitely know that’s never gonna happen. There’s no precedent for UEFA stripping titles away they didn't even do it with Marseille back in the day. Real Madrid is just trying to make sure that a ban from European competitions is a guarantee..

Precisely. Cristiano is an uncontrollable asset. Not the humble puppet that can be tamed and pushed around so the conglomerates simply did not trust him enough to represent their interests on the biggest stages. Cause he would ditch them and do whatever he thinks is right. And they cannot lose millions of dollars hence they have to villianize him as an egotistical and arrogant on the media to shape public perception and opinion and then create a humble saintly image around the other guy so that he is more likeable. It's all intentionally engineered.
