Nepali secular radicals cheered when Mamdani touched the Quran and hosted an iftar in his office, but lose their minds when Balen considers Hindu Buddhist rituals which is the the native, majority traditions of Nepal. Majority culture is always dominant it's a natural phenomena.

Happy birthday to the legendary, iconic WWE Hall of Famer @undertaker!

When I first started grad school in Cambridge, Massachusetts, many of my classmates who had moved from other cities brought their cars with them. Within the first semester, most had sold them off. Why? Because Cambridge was walkable and well-connected by buses and the metro. The Harvard shuttle system made commuting even easier. There were cycle lanes, sidewalks, tree-lined streets, and accessible parks. Walking, cycling, or using public transport was simply more convenient and affordable than owning and driving a car, especially with high parking costs. That is the kind of urbanization I dream of for Nepal. A city where public transportation is more convenient, reliable, affordable, and faster than driving. A walkable city. Only then will owning a private vehicle become a choice and not a necessity.
