Erich and I celebrated our 27th anniversary yesterday. I wanted to cook so I did Gougeres with Chablis, roasted, marinated red peppers with burrata and pasta al limone (Amalfi coast recipe). With more Chablis. It was heaven.

#TacoTuesday with a Petroni syrah from the Moon Mountain District in Sonoma County. This one shows a nose of black cherry, tobacco and licorice with tastes of blackberry, violets and anise. Tacos courtesy of Don Julios in Union City. A strong suggestion for tacos on my part!

Kickstarting the week with this pinot noir by @FurthermoreWine @SLHWine of Monterey County. They have tasting rooms in Sebastopol and Healdsburg. There is a nose rose petals, ripe cherry and nutmeg with flavors of cranberry, sandalwood and clove. Another good one from the SLH.
