Burton at 6 is not the issue. Galvin at 7 is not the issue either. We need to start looking at who’s playing 9 and 13 and who comes on for them off the bench as that rotation of players ain’t working. Then the 8 & 10 rotation although we have injuries so that can be excused.

@MikeMeehallWood @Ahmed_RK76 I agree scoring is an issue but it still helps when you have blokes who are actually causing issues for the defence. We don’t spook anyone and with that become predictable with limited options for the halves to use in attack. They can be better of course.

@micklegend @Ahmed_RK76 It's the halves mate - all the stats suggest Canterbury are great at getting into the right positions, great at defending and pretty good at holding the footy...but can't score enough.

Galvin v Knights had more runs than any half in any game this year - and now has 4 of the top 10 since he joined Dogs. Run-first is good sometimes, but not if everyone knows its coming. Kudos to Knights shutting it down - watch the tape, work it out, stop the trash Dogs attack.

@Ahmed_RK76 @MikeMeehallWood Our forward pack is still missing an enforcer or two. Have been for years. No disrespect to King etc, but they aren’t hard arsed blokes. Kiks and Toups show flashes but aren’t 100% in the middle bending the line. Thats what we are missing.

@cbb_george Yeah I heard that too. Newcastle also had great energy and we were flat as runny shit.

@micklegend They reported that the Ciro told them to stop running sideways at halftime but I think the problem is our pack is too small hence why we go sideways when it gets tough. Surely Ciro can see this and make the right changes but all our big boys are out so that doesn’t help either

All these unplanned subs have made us look like a confused bunch out there. No props on the field atm doesn’t help either.

Don’t get me wrong, Parramatta have not been good but it is terrifying how much better Penrith is to every team in the comp. I don’t see them losing, if fully fit, any time soon.

Next week I’d like to see Burton at Centre and SOS at 7, Galvin 6. As far as forwards are concerned, Hayes/King are a must. I’d also chuck Xerri on the extended bench for size and coverage for the backs.
