🚨UPDATE: On Antifa, my arrest, and the scandalous way that UKIP security guards intentionally put me in danger. Towards the end of the march for Jesus, Antifa began to target me as I was away from the UKIP crowd, respecting their boundaries, because of course I disagree with them, however, I still want to report on their demonstrations. Immediately, as we were attacked, the police escorted us to a kettle occupied by UKIP supporters, as it was considered the safer area, assuming there would be less risk of further confrontation. Their security team (Patriots of Britain), who in the past had accounts suspended for threatening right-wingers at protests, then reported me for breach of the peace. Subsequently, I was arrested. As a result, I was left with no real option but to move between the UKIP side and the Antifa side of the protest. On each side of the protest, either Nick Security were assaulting me or Antifa was. These were the only few occasions where I was generally scared for my safety because the police were constantly committing illegal acts by refusing my ability to film what was going on. That said, I think UKIP is electorally irrelevant. If you want a right-wing party, look at Restore. If you want a protest movement, look at Britain First. And if neither appeals to you, look at Advance UK.

Armed police shoot deer dead after car collision in Halifax Armed police shot a seriously injured deer dead on Ovenden Wood Road, Halifax, this morning. It happened after a car hit the deer at 8:37am. Officers called a vet but none could attend. To stop the animal suffering, armed officers destroyed it at the scene. Now, I have arrested people at sensitive times, I once nicked a guy on Christmas Eve infront of his wife and kids, rolling around in the front room amongst the Christmas decorations and presents..... He was wanted for burglaries and the presents were stolen, you know, actual police work. How these people keep putting the uniform on is unfathomable to me now.

A firefighter doesn’t talk to the public with hands in pockets, a paramedic doesn’t, a lollipop lady doesn’t, a military serviceman doesn’t. So what gives public servants like plod the green light to assume it’s okay for them to do it? Is it some kind of inbred arrogance that they are taught, are they showing their inner contempt for the public? One of the women I met in Drake Hall prison that I keep in touch with, has moved to open prison in York. As she is now open conditions she is allowed to receive toiletries etc, so I’m sending her a little care package. As I have said many times. Not all, in fact most people that end up in prison are not bad people. They have just made a mistake, suffered trauma or been let down by the system. The prison system needs to change or people do not stand a chance of turning their lives around. The government needs to do more to help stop people ending up in the system in the first place.
