@BehavingBeardly Dating apps literally use the same psychology as slot machines. The losses drive tiny dopamine spikes that make you keep going. The ‘hits’ give you higher dopamine spikes, so your brain is already rewarded, the conversations then DONT happen because your brain has gone the reward

RIP Dating I always say I wouldn't survive in todays world of dating, using aps etc. And always do that old man thing of "back in my day we had to approach the person IRL and ask them on a date!" @jak81 This would be too heavy to hang from a wall - it looks like it’d be several kilograms minimum. The back looks like it has a protrusion specifically designed for balancing it against a wall, with intention to display standing on a table or something

@micromads Then they should market it like a display piece (and use better prints instead of stickers) Like this, you have a set which only looks ok from the front and really ugly from the back, and isn't even flat on the backside so you can't place it on a wall -.-

Am I tripping at people complaining about this? I remember when my dad bought the star destroyer in 2005 (3k ish pieces) and it was like 500AUD. This it three times the size and 3 times the price. It makes sense? Lego sets like this have ALWAYS been eye wateringly expensive.
