This Saturday night October 12 the Mid-East Super Late Models will return to action @Cherokee_DirtSC for the Mike Duvall Memorial. $10,000 to win, $1,000 to start. Hot Laps, 2 lap qualifying, 8 lap heats, 50 lap feature. Pit Gates 3pm Registration 4pm Drivers meeting 6pm Hot laps 6:30 There will also be an open practice Thursday Oct 10 and Friday Oct 11 for super late model teams.

IMO although the containment seats have helped in so many ways and overall is safer, I think with the driver sitting straight upright that when the car hits on the frame rails we see more compression fractures because the body & spine has no movement side to side.

@ThonuesJason1 @realfmsupdates Negative. Not only is water still standing at the track, but more importantly. Areas only about 20-30 mins away are still under water. Including some teams shops.

Season Openeing Doug Walls Memorial postponed. With the impending rain forcast overnight through tomorrow morning, both Mid-East Super Late Model and @ULTIMATEandRV officials have made the decision to postpone the Inaugural Doug Walls Memorial to next Friday night March 29. The event will now be a 1 day complete show as scheduled paying $10,000 to win, $1,000 to start. Also with the rescheduling, there will now be a $2,500 bonus to any driver that can win both Friday night and the @ULTIMATESupers event at @Cherokee_DirtSC Saturday night.
