VIROLOGIST: “It’s bizarre, Hantavirus almost never jumps from human to human like this. Usually it’s from coming into contact with rat feces or something.” CRUISE SHIP CHEF: “Yeah, that’s crazy, it must’ve mutated or something.”

Ah, perfect timing No one wants to live in a world where Arsenal win a UCL trophy. Hurry up lads, we've got exactly 24days to make this work.
World Health Organization (WHO)@WHO

Swiss authorities have confirmed a case of #hantavirus identified in a passenger from the MV Hondius cruise ship. He had responded to an email from the ship’s operator informing the passengers of the health event, and presented himself to a hospital in Zurich, Switzerland, and is receiving care. In line with the International Health Regulations (IHR), WHO is working with relevant countries to support international contact tracing, to ensure that those potentially exposed are monitored and that any further disease spread is limited. The type of virus in this outbreak has been confirmed as Andes hantavirus by the National Institute for Communicable Diseases @nicd_sa, South Africa and the Geneva University Hospitals @hug_ge, Switzerland The support of the Institut Pasteur de Dakar @PasteurDakar, Senegal and the Administración Nacional de Laboratorios e Institutos de Salud @ANLIS_Malbran, Argentina has also been critical in responding to this event. As of 6 May, there are 8 cases, 3 of whom are confirmed as hantavirus by laboratory testing. WHO will continue to work with countries to ensure that the patients, contacts, passengers and crew have the information and support they need to stay safe and prevent spread.

Tattoos been getting a lot of negative PR on Twitter lately We all know who's behind it
Massimo@Rainmaker1973

Your tattoo isn’t just decorative ink: it’s a permanent trigger that keeps your immune system locked in a lifelong cycle of chronic inflammation. As soon as the ink is injected into your skin, your body recognizes the pigment particles as foreign invaders. Immune cells called macrophages immediately swarm the area and attempt to swallow them up. But because they can’t actually break down the ink, the macrophages eventually die, releasing the pigment back into the surrounding tissue — only for a new wave of macrophages to arrive and repeat the process. This endless cycle is what keeps the tattoo permanently visible, while also maintaining a state of ongoing, low-level inflammation in the skin. Over time, some of these ink particles migrate through the lymphatic system and accumulate in the lymph nodes, placing constant stress on the body’s defense mechanisms. Emerging research suggests this internal ink buildup may interfere with normal immune function, potentially reducing the effectiveness of certain vaccines, including mRNA types. Additionally, many tattoo inks contain heavy metals like nickel and cobalt. Combined with the chronic inflammation, this has been linked to a modestly elevated risk of lymphoma and skin cancer. While tattoos remain a powerful form of self-expression, they represent a complex, decades-long biological conflict between your immune system and foreign substances embedded in your skin. I don't really watch much Futbol (aka soccer to us Americans). But the more I watch it, the more I like it. One of the main reasons is that it's continuous action without any breaks or commercial interruptions. Once you realize that, it's hard to unsee the countless commercials and breaks in between NBA, MLB, NFL, etc... Am I right or am I right?!

Peter Gregory Obi, your religious belief remains your biggest flaw, and it is what limits you politically. If you weren’t such an ardent Christian, you would have seen this move by Atiku coming from a mile away. Things really would have been different.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

An AMERICAN FRAUD SCHEME scamming its own citizens To my fellow Nigerians, As you make money, Please invest in MEDIA. We Need to change how we are perceived globally. This so called fraud scheme has 4 Americans in it 🇺🇸 Aruan Drake, 37, Atlanta, Georgia 🇺🇸 Peter Reed, 35, Oak Forest, Illinois 🇺🇸 Shaquille I. Jackson, 33, Chicago, Illinois 🇺🇸 Lon Goodman, Chicago area, owner of New Dolton Currency Exchange, laundered ~$50M The rest are also American citizens with Nigerian parents. 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Ayobami Osas Christopher, aka “Lovely Man”, 30, Lawrenceville, Georgia 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Ayorinde Emmanuel Adebayo, 35, Olympia Fields, Illinois 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Olabode Bankole, 37, Loganville, Georgia 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Chukwuemeka Evulukwu, 35, Atlanta, Georgia 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Kingsley Owusu, 37, Chicago, Illinois 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Oluwafemi Michael Awoyemi, 40, Romeoville, Illinois 11 on that list were not named probably because of their nationality and the backlash. The only core Nigerians on that list are 4 people, Which I refuse to mention. So technically. This is an AMERICAN FRAUD SCHEME targeting its own citizens You see how they use the media to always push narratives. Nigeria does not have the financial infrastructure to move 215 million dollar. Don’t let anyone gaslight you. THIS IS AN AMERICAN THING.

Personally can’t stand when people are gassed by who can “PLAY” politics the best. You can’t understand that it’s literally the lives of the entire population at stake, it’s not a game, it’s a fucking job position. Like you can clearly see a certain candidate has no solid qualifications or desire to do the job well asides “ HE CAN PLAY POLITICS” and that’s what is getting some of you excited ? 🤦🏾‍♂️
