I'm going to say it again—there is a massive impediment: trade him pre 6/1 & you take an extra $20 million away from your 2026 roster, while creating a huge hole. If you trade him after 6/1, your cap isn't hurt as much, but you get 0 to help your 2026 roster & create a hole.

A trade of A.J. Brown feels inevitable based on all the off-field stuff this year. But it also seemed pretty evident that he wasn't as dynamic this year. He won fewer and fewer one-on-one match-ups as the season went along, rarely created separation or bullied a DB. Decline here?
