Daphne Sheldrick dedicated her life to raising orphaned elephants, and when she visited them, they would gather around her for a hug. In the early 1960s, she developed the first milk formula that kept infant rhinos and elephants alive—a groundbreaking achievement that saved countless lives. Daphne was an extraordinary force in this world, doing things many could only dream of, and she did them with remarkable success. She passed away in 2018 at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and dedication to preserving wildlife.
