What do you do when the world feels like it’s falling apart and people still refuse to stand up?
We live in a world full of keyboard warriors and trolls… loud from the sidelines, but nowhere to be found when it actually matters.
And then you’ve got companies acting like they’re helping…
while quietly profiting off the very people doing the hard work.
They sell support.
They package “opportunity.”
But behind the scenes, it’s extraction.
More pressure on the worker.
More upside for them.
Everyone has an opinion.
Very few take responsibility.
So what is it… fear, comfort, or just acceptance?
Because at some point, staying silent becomes a choice.
And choices define outcomes.

@powerdmarc Interesting to see what people will do for money!

@midnightcrypto Really insightful thread, Jon. Spoofed “proof” like this is becoming a common tactic - checking SPF, DKIM, and DMARC is critical, but so is continuously monitoring for abuse.

Someone just ran a full scam chain on me in real time Telegram outreach, fake "@OKX Ventures" email, and a group invite at the end.
I caught every step. Here's exactly how it worked. 🧵

English

How to check any email's real origin:
Gmail → three dots → "Show original"
Outlook → three dots → View → "View message source"
Look for SPF, DKIM, DMARC. All three should say "pass."
One fail = suspicious.
All three fail = scam. Every time.
In crypto, the "verification" they offer you is often the scam itself.
English

What followed: a Telegram group invite.
This is where pig butchering scams herd victims a fake "deal flow" group, fake members, fake projects, eventually a fake investment opportunity or ask you to connect your wallet etc or download something sus.
I did click it to see what next. You shouldn't do it just to be safe.
