They blame Sony and Microsoft calling them greedy when they raised prices. But when it’s Nintendo, they blame the “boomer investors” and not Nintendo because Nintendo can do no wrong… All 3 raised prices for the exact same reason.

This price increase happened because boomer investors tanked the stock until the company complied. Why? Because they got pissed that $450 was too good of a deal for consumers You’re not “right”, you're applauding boomer investors making things less affordable

Removing 1st party, Switch 2 has sold around 17 million 3rd party and indie games in 9 months, that's an attach ratio under 1 game sold not made by Nintendo per console sold. 🤯 Switch 2 has over 350 games not made by Nintendo, the average units sold of these games is 48.5K. 😬

Nintendo will raise the price of Switch 2 globally and expects to sell 3m fewer units consoles in the next financial year as a result. In the US, the Switch 2 console price will rise by $50. The firm will also increase the subscription price of Nintendo Switch Online.

Okay fine I'll add context: Nintendo has now increased the price of 4 consoles! Switch, Lite, OLED and 2. More than any other major console developer in modern gaming.
