I love the implication that the erratic management, mass layoffs, incoherent moderation, destruction of verification, decimated engineering staff, serial unbanning of racists, and crumbling infrastructure had nothing to do with twitter losing half its value. Nope, just Jews.

I haven't seen my Twitter (whatever) feed talking a lot about the new TOS coming into effect on the 28th, where Twitter asserts a right to use your content generated on/posted to Twitter for their own purposes in perpetuity, so, uh, that's happening

@nicknewt it only has 600K users right now, but since everybody gets an invite code every two weeks, effectively the potential userbase doubles every two weeks - I think a bunch of codes have gone unused

Bluesky is acting up right now. I'm wondering what the odds are that it's because of a mass of people trying to sign up immediately after the block news or if it's just a coincidence.
