@gongjukli Ma mère me fait pareil, elle veut pas que j'aille faire mon école à 800km parce qu'elle pourra pas venir me voir blabla alors que quand j'étais a même pas 2h elle venait pas déjà Elle est surtout deg que je reste pas pour garder les animaux quand elle part en vacances

ma génitrice qui joue encore la carte de la culpabilisation en disant qu’elle est triste que je décide de m’éloigner d’elle et qu’elle pense à moi tout le temps, je suis fatiguée

en fait un truc qui me terrorise à l’idée d’avoir un gosse c’est que ça devient littéralement tt ta vie j’ai l’impression que tt les personnes autour de moi qui ont des gosses ils perdent leur identité et deviennent un parent avant tt

@Flaeonian @taremeeyes i don't have any friends and currently back with my mom but i hate it lol, she judges everything so can't really make any progress here if i can get my apprenticeship i'll be out of here and i'll be able to work on myself slowly

@miimimune @taremeeyes Because there's always someone out there for you, even if you, like me can't see it, or haven't found it, like I did my mentor last year.

@Flaeonian @taremeeyes yeah i only got diagnosed two years ago at 26 but went through all the meds available here during this time

@miimimune @taremeeyes I'm sorry it hasn't worked out for you :/. If it gives you comfort, it took me 3 years before I found my therapist and yet another year before I actually got meds. And even then, I feel that I'm still just beginning. It's a long process

@Flaeonian @taremeeyes i've seen a ton of different psychiatrist, psychologist and even went to the psych ward multiple time the only thing that helped me is the psych ward since i could talk to people i'm going to have 3 weird years for school where i'll move around a lot so it complicate things

@miimimune @taremeeyes To me the ROI of being actually productive was worth the investment in the shopping around. I also actually had to shop the Psychiatrist until I got one who wasn't "stimulants are addictive, have antidepressants for your anxiety", which REALLY sucked.

@kair1n i tried methylphedinate and lixdesamphetamines, we only have thoses here and both doesnt do much i feel like the side effects arent worth the cost anyway unless during school lessons i just wish for my executive dysfunction to get better because its the root of all my problems

@miimimune Depends on the med ngl, and best combo is med + therapy + lifestyle changes, it’s a lot of work to get the desired results but the alternative is just suffering anyway for nothing so ppl do be trying

@Flaeonian @taremeeyes i tried therapy for years and it did nothing, its also way too expensive :/ I do agree with the motor oil comparison when i'm at school or work for exemple my life keep imploding because my executive dysfunction is so severe i do NOTHING outside of work/job, no hobby, no chores

@miimimune @taremeeyes For me, meds work like motor oil. My brain can function without them, and I even get stuff done, but it overheats like hell and I literally explode every two weeks and my life goes to shit. With meds everything is easier, but the executive dysfunction needs the help of therapy.

@astro_jaz You need go get into pro mode, lower the aperture to f8 or f11 if you can Shutter speed to 1/125 or 1/250 and lower your Iso as much as possible (200 usually)
