I was behind the goal at Fulham to see Alejandro Garnacho score his first PL goal for United in 2022. He was such an exciting talent and had such a bright future. To see him go so soon to a rival in Chelsea for a pitiful £40 million just feels very, very wrong. A real shame.

I’m seriously worried. I see lots of people saying it’s clear that Amorim is a better manager than ETH. Results are suggesting otherwise. We look so easy to play against. We struggled against the Saints and were outplayed today. I really don’t know where we go from here.

Keith Dewhurst told us about an epic game at Highbury in Feb '58. After Munich, Keith became MU correspondent for Evening Chronicle, then an award winning playwright. A superb writer (inc for UWS - he sent his 100th column on Tues) and fine man, he died yesterday aged 94. RIP.
