As a kid from Westville, it has been the greatest honor and privilege to serve the people of Oklahoma for the past thirteen years in both the House and Senate. I am grateful to President Trump for nominating me to lead the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. I look forward to earning the support of my colleagues in the Senate and carrying out President Trump’s mission alongside the department’s many capable agencies and the thousands of patriots who keep us safe every day. President Trump ran on restoring law and order, and he quickly delivered the most secure U.S. border in American history. I look forward to supporting @POTUS’ mission to safeguard the American people and defend the homeland.

Director Sanders was honored serve as Keynote speaker for the @fiberbroadband Regional Fiber Connect Conference held at the OKANA Resort in OKC. Sanders gave an update on where Oklahoma finds itself in the quest for universal connectivity.

The office was at the State Capitol today to provide legislators an overview of our progress and projections as more projects reach completion and more Oklahomans gain access to high speed internet. Our thanks to Chairman Green, Chairman Fetgatter, and their committees.

We’re getting Oklahoma online! We are pleased to announce the first OBO-funded projects have been completed. The projects, built by Dobson Fiber, are delivering reliable, fiber-optic internet service to 366 locations in and around Burns Flat and Granite.

Keeping elected leaders informed on the work we do to serve their constituents is a key part of our mission. We were grateful to have State Representative Emily Gise by the office to to give her a status report on all ARPA projects underway across the state and in HD 90.

The Oklahoma Broadband Office hosted the state's @usdaRD team for an update on our work to close the digital divide. Director Sanders gave State Director Zachary Swartz a rundown of our broadband map and dashboard, detailing locations and construction phases for our projects.

For the third year running, Spinozi with Sports Animal stopped by for the 2025 edition of the 12 Days of Spinozi.  Happy to support the great work being done by the OK City Center this holiday season. This year, donations will go towards gifts for over 4,000 local children.

I will never understand why people choose to coddle and endorse violent jihad against innocent people celebrating life on a beach. Globalize the Intifada isn’t a saying, it’s a devastating, murderous action against innocent Jews. This time, in Australia during the festival of lights - Hanukkah. May the memories of those killed be a blessing.

Pray for the victims of once again a cowardly act by terrorists in Australia.

The office was in Wagoner County near the town of Okay, celebrating the launch of a $1.5 million broadband expansion project. Lake Region Technology and Communications will be connecting local homes and businesses via fiber optic technology.
