@evanspuppies thanks! that was in the 'flashforward' sequences where Sam is in Hillside, to show Sam's dreamlike-state, which was shattered when Maggie returned in the finale, which is why as soon as she appears everyone has normal skin again. There are also no shadows and weird bg colours!
