Together, these ‘paradoxical’ sources of methane may be one of the largest natural sources of methane to the atmosphere… but we know next to nothing about them. 6/6

We will be investigating this in lakes and in the ocean. This issue of aerobic ‘paradoxical’ methane production has become much more complicated and also more important with all of the potential sources… 5/6

Holy f**k, METHANE! The new NOAA global methane numbers just came out and blew away worst-case expectations, breaking 1900 ppb for the first time (the previous high was 1893 ppb). I'm going to do a little bit of analysis and post it soon, in the meantime, wow!
