Today we honored the remarkable life and legacy of Mayo Clinic’s longest-serving staff member, Sister Lauren Weinandt. The newly dedicated Sister Lauren Weinandt Staff Gazebo will serve as a connection point for staff – past, present, and future – as Sister Lauren intended.

Last week we broke ground on the Sister Lauren Weinandt Staff Gazebo to honor Sister Lauren. Upon completion, the gazebo will serve as a connection point for staff and a point of reflection toward Mayo Clinic’s long history and legacy starting with the Sisters of St. Francis.
