@jappleby Two distinctions - “read” and “unread”. Even if I read it, it stays unread until I respond. Nothing gets deleted, I search for everything as I need it out of the inbox. I have a few other folders for read items that are not urgent or important like newsletters, etc.

Hi, I have ADHD & just tried a new email folder system... that turned into me forgetting literally all of my most important emails & project deadlines. So uh... for those of you with attention / focus issues, could you recommend an email management ideology? (not just a tool!)
