@Dimillian AI can create great products. I think it is important to check its work though to make usre what was created is worth shipping.

I am working on an update to my Shortcuts community called Beyond The Gallery. It is moving from Wordpress to a Javascript web app. By the end of this process, I will be able to administer the site from our native mobile app. I can't wait to share more.

I have an unpopular opinion. If Apple does not approve your vibe coded app then actually try to learn something about building apps and work with AI to build something better.

@anhphong_dev I'm currently letting all other requests fall back to general and the user can then ask for a specific use case or mention a tool agent specifically if something doesn't route correctly.

@mikedoise smart approach. keeping the router lightweight so it doesn't eat into the context window is key. how are you handling edge cases where the router misclassifies?

converting Beyond The Gallery from a Wordpress site to a full Javascript web app.

Perspective CLI will soon be able to run Apple Foundation Models adapters. That will be very exciting!

The app uses a decision router that only looks at the user prompt and makes a decision to route or not. it then sends off to a router that makes the decision and then the agent looks at the prompt with a full context window and then outputs the tokens based on the response. all sessions are thrown away except for the main chat session.

@mikedoise user and tool agents is a big step. curious how you're handling the agent handoff - does the user agent decide when to call a tool agent, or is there a routing layer?

@anhphong_dev Xcode works great on the Neo along with many other apps. it is incredible what you can do with this machine. I'm running Perspective Server on it, which allows me to connect from any other machine on my network, and chat with Foundation Models.

@mikedoise mostly my own stuff honestly. translatepeek for quick translations, vpn peek for network monitoring. outside of that - raycast, warp terminal, and claude code for everything dev related

What apps are you using on your MacBook Neo?

@twostraws I would like to see Apple increase the speed at which they release Swift Playgrounds, Although, I think I would recomend new coders get a MacBook Neo and start with Xcode. Swift Playgrounds has some strange accessibility issues still.

I think either Apple will introduce fees to submit apps, or AI costs will get so high that people stop building apps. I’m already feeling this. My Claude API usage limit in Cursor getting consumed very quickly

@mariosaputra I think Apple will hire more app reviewers, or change the requirements for app review. I submitted my app today and it was through review in a few hours. My Mac version is taking a bit, but it is a new app.

@craiganthony @mariosaputra I don't think they should. it would force indie devs out of the store. That is not Apple's culture.

@mariosaputra I wish Apple had tiered Developer program accounts. I’d gladly pay a much higher annual fee for the following: - faster review times - 5 “instantaneous” review tokens per year - 5-10% ASO boost - App Store badge

This version took a while to make, but I am so glad it is out, and I hope the Mac version will be out very soon.

Waiting for Perspective Intelligence 1.6 for Mac, so, it is time to work more on Beyond The Gallery. More to come on that soon.
