There’s absolutely no reason on planet Earth that the Blastoise Ex and Venusaur Ex from Pokemon 151 are this disrespected and only $171 and $144 while the Charizard Ex is at $400. All cards should be in that $400 range. Generational cards of the big three. 🍃🔥💧

This opinion might put me in the hot seat with some, but as a gentile reminder - this is just one persons opinion.
Modern Pokemon cards are overvalued by at least 30-40%
And that’s not to say I don’t own many of these cards, because I do.
But if you’re not a collector, and you are looking to Pokemon for solely investment purposes, you are playing a WILD game right now

@TCGView @ChristinaJuneee This new wave of scalpers wasnt cause of Logan imo, he definitely price hiked retro stuff years ago, but that's happening now is different.

He turned it into a money game and now all the scalpers have flocked to it and ruined it. Regular collectors are priced out because a few assholes go and buy up entire stores and repost them at 2-3x the price.
It's why I stopped buying Pokemon in 2022. It's just too much trouble.

He should have stayed silent those 5 years ago. I've been on/off trying to master set every English set (1st ed/Reverse set) since college. I may never achieve it now.
He caused so much damage for ACTUAL collectors & players being able to obtain cards affordably for years.
