Maybe point out that GPs get all their IT costs covered, protected training time, subsidised budgets and lots of NHS support to run their operational services. The beneficiaries of Pharmacy First will also include reduced demands on GPs. You have to look at funding in the round.

In short, many many pharmacy’s are having to purchase medications in order to supply to patients, well in excess of the price they are reimbursed for them by DHSC.
