Finally! Launched the MVP of MeetREVA.com - a real estate transaction tracking platform for individual #realtors, small teams, and their assistants. Also a great place for #virtualassistants who work in the real estate world to create a profile. Now it’s 0 to 1 time!

I guess it is time for all of us to re-watch The Big Short so that we can reacquaint ourselves with mortgage backed securities and why they are awesome for everyone. It’s getting a bit redundant for my taste. Can’t greed and stupidity learn some new moves?

@MarkShust J: So where are the controllers and models? S: Lol... No. The php is literally written on the same html page as the form. The form posts to itself. When the page reloads the php checks to see if you posted and then just does whatever. Good luck!

Senior: first day of the first job? Junior: yeah! S: excited? J: hell yeah! S: you seem like a smart kid! J: yeah I know Magento quite well. S: so yeah, here's your first task on this legacy project on Magento 1.6. It was created in 2011 and only works on PHP 5...

@Mr_jrlawson You would think there would be an AI tool for that?! But 15 minutes per email for what I’d think are well researched, thoughtful outreaches - probably pretty decent work.

It took me 3.5 hours to send 12 emails. I'm working through my marketing and sales funnel. It actually feels pretty efficient tho, especially when you have a way to measure the ROI.

@rmarlow91 Worst case scenario: You have 99% of free users and spend all your day supporting them (and pay huge server bills 😅)

Having a free tier is the easiest way to get viral when launching your startup. But is it worth on the long term? 🤔

@WhoWorksThere None - personally as a user I find them very annoying, so I wouldn’t use them with my visitors (two others - clearly favoring “sign up” over “log in” makes actual customers feel less important and not having a “cancel membership “ button)

@CicmilJovan @arvidkahl Alternatively, it’s always worth testing 4242 4242 4242 4242 with your Amazon shopping cart, because hey, you never know 🤔

@arvidkahl I've worked on code that included actual credit card details I kid you not. Left by previous developers for "testing live payments".

Just ran into this on HN: "Every secret you give a developer will eventually end up in their source code." I must admit that I made this mistake many times. How about you? Are you sure you're operating your SaaS as securely as possible? Take inventory every now and then.

Inspired by the @bp22 interview on thedrive podcast by @peterattiamd & intrigued by the 4000 weeks idea and broken app, I quickly read “4000 Weeks” by @oliverburkeman and started work on an SMS-based, 4000 Weeks inspired service - it’s finally live at tuel.io/momento

@elonmusk Tweet threads seem to be very common. I’d like an easier way to draft tweet threads that isn’t post, reply, post reply, etc. I’m not sure how to design it, but something to make it smoother would be great. I know I’d create a lot more of them if it was easier.
