PR Alert x3 🚨🚨 @acritchie7 (Paul D. Camp CC Uncomitted) hit a new PR of 89 multiple times 🔥 He’s getting closer to joining the 90 mph club @cblank_37 (C/O 2026) hit a 89 MPH infield throw this past weekend at a WVU camp, he’s made some huge strides this off season 👀

After trying multiple other pitches for a third pitch, this split was the result of that process. The splitter with cut might be one of my favorite pitches I’ve seen recently

He’s a dude, has ride on the 4S with 2 plus secondary pitches

Love to see an arsenal’s ability to play off each other. The cutter is important to add a vertical element to the arsenal. While hitters have to flatten their barrel to handle it compared to having a steeper barrel with the other pitches

Pitch arsenal is ahead from last season this time 👨‍🔬 Also the personal indoor PR is 92.1, that could get broken this offseason 👀

When throwing 2 different breaking balls, understanding the purpose of each & how they play in the arsenal is key. This pitcher has a bigger CB that results in more whiffs but can be difficult to command. A slutter provides a pitch he can command easier and is platoon neutral

A Sinker-Cutter combo pairs well together. A sinker with more HB allows: 1. cutter to be used with glove side sinkers to potentially freeze the hitter 2. tunnels the cutter w/ sinkers on the outside part of the plate to get hitters jammed after seeing the pitch out over the plate
