🇵🇹 Bandidos do Cante have won Festival da Canção 2026 with the song "Rosa" with 22 points — they placed 2nd for the jury and 1st for the public. As a reminder, they were one of the few acts that had confirmed their desire to participate at Eurovision 2026 representing Portugal.

They say I do it for the male gaze but the truth is I do it for the MALE GAYSSSS 😘 Thank you EVITA for hosting a fabulous party last night 🧡 143. i love you.

A Capitol Records consultant talks about #143 era for The Express: — “Katy always saw this album as a progression and development in her life. Katy understands that while it's not been as big commercially, it was connected to celebrating femininity and a must for her career journey. It is a joyful song to her, regardless of its chart position. She feels it is an exciting time ahead and was intent on taking a departure from those big pop tracks like Roar and California Gurls. It was time to get out from behind the desk at Idol for music and to try different ventures, including even expanding her brood if nature allows. And sure the last few weeks have been a little rocky, but she is not panicking. She has been here before and come through these peaks and valleys. Lifetimes may not be shaking the charts, but it is becoming a club anthem across the Med. The response from that lick has been huge and will continue to grow. Certainly Capitol are fully on board. They support Katy and have faith that the album is strong. Some think that Gorgeous - her tune with Kim Petras - should have been the first release, but there is still time and hope for a turn around. That should be out soon. Katy is staying calm and believes in a longer game on this one. Anyone that thinks she is just gonna jump from this back into a judge's role for another TV gig, better think again. She remains a pop superstar first and foremost. That is her day job and will be her career forever. She ain't going nowhere.”
