Feels like risk reduction is something that you address during the first few months of the team playing and then real convos around “limit testing” are being had.

It shouldn't be though, there's a fundamental obsession with risk reduction in a lot of the ways I observe review being conducted

@JamadaLoL It’s nuanced. The focus is often on the “intent” of the play over the execution if a broadcaster thinks (or knows) a player made or mistake. So it’s way more rare for a KR caster to say “that was bad.” More common to say “that didn’t work out as intended.”

Can anyone who consumes both the Global and Korean broadcast tell me what the difference is in how they handle analysis? Does the KR broadcast just never do critique?
Many KR fans always seem to be quick to be offended when someone has criticism and always frame it as an attack

@powdury 3. Knowing what motivates you is an imperative. For everyone it's different. For me, knowledge acquisition very valuable and I put myself in environments where I can learn the most.
It can take years to find this for people and it's mostly because this search is deprioritized.

@powdury 2. Entry barriers for "white-collar" jobs are higher than ever and many of them require college degrees or extensive certification that require college credit.
But that path is not for everyone. Some people can't stand a routined life and then maybe uni is not a requirement.

I’m looking for some advice. My younger brother is a teenager who’s feeling lost. He doesn’t have much motivation for higher education and is having a hard time meeting our parent’s expectations.
Do you have any ideas or suggestions I could pass along to help him out? Trade school, other programs, anything really. I just want to help him out.
