You did that. You earned that doubt entirely on your own. So here is what we need: say that Russia is an adversary of the West. On camera. Without winking. Without a “but.” Just say it like a man who means it. Because if the answer is not clear, unambiguous and convincing, NATO should do the only rational thing: remove the United States from the alliance. As self-preservation. Keeping a potentially compromised actor inside the most sensitive military alliance on earth is a security catastrophe waiting to happen. This is a red line. And we are standing on it right now. If Trump’s answer is Russia, and his behaviour suggests it is, then NATO’s most sensitive secrets are not secrets at all. They are gifts. Every troop position, every contingency plan, every back-channel communication becomes material that could be passed to Moscow by a man who is compromised sits at the top of the Western alliance. This is categorically false. Not merely a stretch, but a straight-up lie. Congress (not Biden alone) appropriated roughly $188 billion total for Ukraine-related support from 2022–2024. NOT $350 billion. Of that, the bulk (~$110–130B in security/military categories) stayed right here in the U.S., paying American defense contractors & replenishing our own stockpiles. Actual direct financial ("cash") support to Ukraine was roughly $31–38B. Those funds were tracked by the World Bank and were audited by firms like KPMG & Deloitte. We were not writing blank checks. It's extremely frustrating to watch this President demonize an ally while downplaying Putin as the aggressor. This administration has ended new U.S. financial/military support for Ukraine (they can buy via the EU if needed). Combined with eased sanctions on Russia and the President's moral ambiguity on the war, it is just a complete betrayal that I will never, ever understand. Polls show that the vast majority of Americans are very much clear eyed about this — we support Ukraine and we sympathize with Ukraine. Our President does not reflect that majority view.

Trump is now attacking Germany. Notice how he keeps going after U.S. allies for not supporting a war he started without even consulting them, but never criticizes Russia for helping Iran target U.S. troops.

We owe Russia absolutely nothing. They are the ones who owe us for breaking every promise and committing genocide in Europe. We need to stop acting like they dictate the terms. We should be the ones making demands on Moscow, not the other way around

Six months later he owned the whole country. This week the Russian Duma passed a law letting Putin deploy troops anywhere on Earth to “protect Russian citizens.” Estonia and Latvia both have large Russian-speaking minorities on Russia’s border. Trump has spent a month telling America that NATO abandoned him. The alliance didn’t show up when he needed it. Remember that.
