Social media is all about doing "signaling" to portray self-images. When someone is actively counter-signaling an evil that's obviously not there—in this case the "pedophiles" of Stellar Blade—you have to wonder why they're so desperate to signal they're not one themselves? 🤔
Espiritu@OtakuEspiritu

If the first thing you think when you see her is “OMG, pedo bait,” or "Its a child", then at this point maybe you’re the one hiding something and projecting. Because I just find it weird and creepy how fast these men only think about children when they see an early-20s tomboy in a video game. Not everyone needs to look like their face went through a blender and have their own gravitational pull!🤷

About Ahmadinejad and Mossad story: I wasn’t entirely sure what to make of that coordinated rumor “Israel wanted to topple the regime and install Ahmadinejad in its place”? which suddenly started circulating sourcing from outlets like The New York Times and Haaretz. Then I saw Christiane Amanpour’s post, and it all clicked. This is about Prince @RezaPahlavi. The goal is to erode Iranians’ trust in Israel. By weakening that trust, they’re effectively helping the regime. One of the main reasons Iranians have so much confidence in Israel is that they know Israel has no intention of rebranding or reinstalling the same regime, or figures like Ahmadinejad. Instead, Israel supports the Iranian people’s own choice: their national leader, Reza Pahlavi. The New York Times writer, Farnaz Fassihi, is widely seen by Iranians as a controlled opposition figure, outwardly critical of the regime but tasked with steering dissent in directions that pose no real threat to it. BBC Persian plays the exact same role, as do most outlets aligned with Democratic circles. Also, every Iranian knows Christiane Amanpour harbors a deep personal grudge against Pahlavi (we call it “Pahlavi Derangement Syndrome”). It stems from her family ties to the corrupt Qajar court, which the Pahlavis sidelined. So why revive this old, tired rumor right now? A short while ago, Prince Reza Pahlavi told Iranians that the purpose of his international trips was to convince policymakers to distinguish between the Iranian people and the regime. He specifically noted that one reason for the careful approach taken by Israel and the U.S. (minimizing civilian casualties) was his visit to Israel two years earlier, which helped convince them that the Iranian people are not the enemy. BBC Persian immediately edited his words to make it sound as if he had claimed his trip caused the war. Of course. They felt threatened and quickly fabricated this nonsense to claim Pahlavi was never Israel’s alternative, while simultaneously sowing distrust toward Israel among Iranians. Haaretz casually mentioned other plans, such as backing Kurdish separatist groups to dismember Iran. This is classic regime propaganda used to undermine Israel’s standing among Iranian nationalists. Ahmadinejad may well have had some contacts with Mossad, but given that he is still alive and, contrary to the reports, is not under house arrest, he has probably claimed he was running a counter-intelligence operation. In any case, the whole idea that Israel wanted to topple the regime and install Ahmadinejad is so absurd and laughable that it’s beyond belief. For us Iranians, this story is worn out and obvious. Unfortunately, some Westerners, unfamiliar with the context, still fall for it. Please be careful with fake news and propaganda.

Iran Foreign Minister, Araghchi: ‘POTUS is absolutely right. Whoever provides secure and safe passage of commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz should be compensated for this service. Iran has always been the GUARDIAN of the Strait and will remain so FOREVER. 20% is of course too much. We will be fair’

Yesterday, using multiple one-way attack surface drones, CENTCOM forces successfully struck a submarine and ship maintenance facility in Iran. Three Corsair unmanned surface vessels hit the port at Bandar Abbas Naval Base, marking the first time American forces have employed sea drones in combat operations. Last night’s strikes degraded Iran’s ability to continue attacking commercial shipping.

Your median professor sits so far left that AOC, Sanders, and Warren would count as moderates in any faculty lounge. Faculty from 55 elite universities form one towering blue spike of ideology far out on the left, density exploding past 6, with virtually nothing on the conservative side. This was built through decades of selective hiring, social enforcement, and the systematic purge of dissent. And because they credential the people who run media, law, government, and tech, the monoculture leaks into every elite institution downstream.
