Only emergency vehicles and media are allowed through the blockades, so I used my volleyball connections to try for a media pass. I was ready with my Starlink, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and DJI mics. But to no avail.

Miles Partain x NBC today @ the Palisades. Got frustrated last night hearing a reporter mispronounce the Palisades and point out burned down buildings without having a clue what they were. They didn't walk our streets. Run our 5Ks. Come to our 4th of July Parade.
