If all your answers ultimately end in “I don’t know…” do you really have any answers?

@milestrivera @MarioFunk @darwintojesus I'm not sure what you're saying. I mean this: "The axiom that logic is reliable should be enough, no?" Seems to me to be a parody of something. What do you think you're saying here?

@milestrivera @JenResistedAGN An individual’s position on ethical questions differ. Ethics within a given society are broadly homogeneous. That’s why the vast majority of a society can see someone’s actions as unethical despite that individual’s personal rationale.

Why can’t why all just strive to be ethical people—with or without whatever Jesus may or may not have said? 🤔

@RolandDaudeles @JenResistedAGN Ethics can vary between individuals in a society and they do. There are no uniform ethics. My original statement is correct. Nothing you've said contradicts it. Get mad all you want.

@milestrivera @JenResistedAGN You need to get it through your thick skull that ethics develop from community, culture, and society, not any individual’s personal opinion. You can act as you wish and society, other individuals, will deem it unethical. This isn’t confusing.

@milestrivera @JenResistedAGN No we don’t. Of course it’s subjective. All ethics and morals are subjective. We either behave according to ethical principles or we don’t. An individuals actions or behavior aren’t ethics.

@RolandDaudeles @JenResistedAGN Yeah you do. Just because you have societal influence doesnt mean its not subjective. You could have different ethical preferences tomorrow. Keyword being preference.

@milestrivera @JenResistedAGN We don’t decide or choose ethics, they manifest through cultural and societal interactions and values. So no, not the same thing. An individuals behavior isn’t ethics.

@athiestboi Please tell us what evidence is acceptable. What difference would you expect to observe in a world in which heaven exists? Why would you expect that evidence?

@milestrivera @JenResistedAGN Ethics aren’t “decided” on an individual level. We apply ethics, not decided on an individual level, through our decisions and actions.
