Chaos at @AdelaideAirport this morning. Lines for security snaking through departure. Have been in line since 5.20am and almost 30 mins later still not through. No social distancing. No help for people who's flight is currently boarding.

Eating cereal by phone light due to a last-week-of-daylight-savings morning blackout. Actually it's kinda peaceful.

We really need some reassurance from @TTGCouncil that the birds, walkers, frogs and residents won't be disrupted by the 100-plus extra daily cars and buses expected from this big development in a quiet area. @abcadelaide @BenCameron4

Another amazing sunrise over Edinburgh Reserve, Modbury. My neighbours, most of whom are elderly, are very anxious about the $1.2 million inclusive playground, TTG council has decided to go ahead with. It will include toilet blocks and carving up space for car and bus parks.

It is so hard to oppose an inclusive playground without coming across as a NIMBY. But really, this quiet suburban area is perfect as it is without development.

Ahhh nooooo. The glorious Payneham Pool is closed due to some technical problem. That's it- we'll have to cancel the rest if summer! My favourite Adelaide pool by far. #npsp

@benny_s_1992 Well my Dad who regularly lap swims there got an email on Feb 9 saying it was closed "until further notice" due to a problem with the circulation pump.

@miller_el I love this pool. Clean and uncrowded, with wide lanes to swim in. And good temperature water too.

Can see the smoke all the way from my balcony in Modbury. Scary.

Think I left my fun for a wall calendar too late. Been looking in the CBD and it seems I have to choose between Cliff Richards, obscure dog breeds and 365 days of horses...

Well @TTGCouncil has voted to build a multi-million $ inclusive playground between these trees at Edinburgh Reserve. Impossible to oppose it without sounding like a major NIMBY. Just hope it stays beautiful, tranquil and full of birds. Please do an awesome job TTG!
