@elivanmuyen @carlthegrinder Buffalo won their division and will pick later than the Wild regardless. The Canadiens finished with more points and will pick later than the Wild regardless. As long as the Wild lost to the Avalanche, both these teams were always picking after the Wild.

With the Wild’s playoff elimination, their first round draft pick is set at 24th overall unless the Ducks advance to the Conference Finals. If the Ducks do advance, the Wild’s pick becomes 23rd overall.

@elivanmuyen @carlthegrinder The Golden Knights won their division and will always be slotted behind the Wild regardless of points. This is true regardless of result. The Ducks winning would push them to a lesser draft pick bracket because they finished lower in the standings.
